The first of many trips have started into China for the planning of the Christian efforts around the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.  Current plans are to mobilize 10,000+ believers from all over the world August 2008.  We will start in South Korea with a large event set out to brief, unite, and teach the volunteers what they will need to know for the coming days.  From there we will leave in small groups to begin our ministry in nearly every region of China.

Please begin to pray NOW if this is something you feel God leading you to be a part of.  We are praying for 1,000 leaders to step up and commit to take 2 trips into China before the games to build relationships and be better prepared when they return in August, 2008.  The Chinese are very relationship oriented.  Don't think you can just show up for the Games and be productive.  If you want to work with the locals (you want to!) you have to earn there trust and the only way to do this is to begin visiting, planning, and working with them ahead of time.  I have already been in once and will be returning in August.  We are praying to see 4 orientation/leader trips occur each year between now and the Games.
