Hello everybody! I pray this email finds you incredibly blessed! God has truly shown Himself strong on our behalf! A "Christmas Celebration for Others" was an incredible success.

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in (and through) me; and this life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." Galatians 2:20

God lived in and through over 120 people to make "A Christmas Celebration For Others" a success! He is so incredible! This event was envisioned, planned, and carried out in less than 6 days (of course it was known by an omniscient God from the beginning of all time!).

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18

15 families (14 of whom were at the party!), equaling 63 kids (59 of whom were at the party!), saw the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus through the unselfish acts of you! The face of God Friday evening for these families were over 30 people! Most of which were in the 18-25 age range!

The night...(5:00pm) began with 6 out of 14 of the families being picked up...As families arrived they had their family portraits made in front of the Christmas tree (each family will receive a free set of family portraits!)...The kids began jumping in the SpaceWalks!...Good fellowship!...(6:45pm)Welcome...food blessing by Rev. Tony Aikens (pastor of Park Place Baptist)...The over 80 members of the families were served ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls by over 30 people!...Serving team then mixed in with the families and ate...Then served them a great assortment of desserts...Then cleaned the tables off...An unexpected (by me!) short message about God's goodness even in what seems tough times...Luke (Tom Folkers), in "Luke" character shared the Christmas Story...my mom (Dale Taylor) led via autoharp an assortment of Christmas Carols...Into the gifts!...After two B'Day boys chose a gift, every child was able to choose a gift out of the "surplus" pile (the original prayer was one $10-$15 gift per child, the "surplus" pile ended up holding out till every child got something, concluding two gifts per child!)!...Then the "real" wrapped gifts were passed out!...Including a gift for every mom/grand mom and granddad!...More good fellowship!...(8:30) Dismissed and began taking families home!...Every family (15), received an incredible care package consisting of near $200 worth of food/sanitary products per package (some of the items were donated and the rest, including 6-7 pnds of ham for the families to prepare Christmas Day, was purchased with the financial donations of $1,125!)!

What a night! It really can't be summed up! Many have been asking if there will be another "Christmas Celebration For Others"! Possibly, as time goes by the good of the evening is covering up the craziness of the week, especially Friday! Ask HIM (He'll fill us in)!
