7:15, I walk outside to see the lines of cars coming
in. I feel a drizzle
start. All I could think of was the prayer time we had just come out
of,
"Holy Spirit fall, Holy Spirit move, Take Control". Those were the
prayers
that were voiced. As I felt the drizzle and saw the cars, I felt
Him. He
moved powerfully and intentionally. At 7:30 Brian submitted a
welcome and
then Garrison kicked in, "Come, now is the time". It truly was, it
was time
to Awaken a Generation. To awaken them to the power, to the grace,
to the
mercy, to the love, of Jesus Christ! He was there, some 350 18-27
year olds
were there too!7:50, Concert of Prayer, God initiated, through
Brian and Molly, pray for
your campus, pray for the lost. Students from across Northwest FL
and South
AL, Baptist's, Methodist's, Assembly's, Non-Denom's, etc., joined
hands,
hugged necks, and cried out to a Sovereign God to shed mercy and
grace on
our campus' and in our work place!
10, 9, 8... it's 8:00, Passion is in! From Atlanta and Irvine,
live via
satellite, Chris Tomlin and Louie Giglio in Atlanta, Charlie Hall
and David
Crowder Band in Irvine- hands raised, knees bowed, teared eyes. He
was
moving, in spirit and in truth! Passion had it, vision was shed,
praise and
prayers were lifted, HE was in control! Chris Tomlin was on, worship
was
felt, dancing took place, 10, 9, 8... it was 10:00, the screen went
blank.
A Holy roar rose up across the audience, a generation was awakened!
It wasn't over, vision was cast for OneDay. Our OneDay was today!
God was
on stage through Mollie Martin and Brian Nall, a testimony was
heard, a
conviction was felt, eyes were wet, the Holy Spirit moving. People
stood,
people knelt, people prayed. For confession, for restitution, for
strength.
Garrison was back on for those who were still being dealt with by
their
King, praise was lifted. To a God who truly covered this event with
His
grace, anointed it with His power, loved it with His heart beat.
An Awakened Generation....
